I think this would be wonderful in snow ice cream, and would also be wonderful in my Great Grandma-Allen’s Pecan Pie recipe…I know you can really tell when a lesser vanilla is used!
I learned – Massey has a creamy, sweet, velvety flavor that is perfectly suited for a range of products from baked goods to ice creams, salad dressings to barbeque sauces.
Madagascar Bourbon vanilla does not have anything to do with the American whiskey of the same name, but is rather named for the Bourbon Islands off the coast of Africa.
I learned that Madagascar Bourbon Pure Vanilla can be used in barbeque sauce. I wonder how that tastes? I never thought of using it either. Maybe I will try it in these kind of recipes. Thanks!
I honestly did not know that Madagascar supplied more than 60% of the world’s vanilla! that is interesting~ thank you for the informative review.. it is always nice to learn about great new products (especially when I can use them in my kitchen!)
I learned this can be used in more savory dishes like BBQ sauce. I would’ve never thought!

I completely agree that the quality of vanilla affects the outcome of food. Personally I love Trader Joe’s vanilla “paste”.
This is what I learned from you
my baking still tasted alright but it was never phenomenal but I never realized that quality of my vanilla affected the outcome so much
I always wondered about that!
