A baby’s skin is ultra delicate and, in Carter’s case, very sensitive. I think the sensitive skin is a trait that Carter inherited from me as I have to be very careful on the products I use. I have been using Lalabee Bathworks on the both of us and have been seeing some great results.
Lalabee Bathworks is a Canadian company that makes skincare products for pregnancy, postpartum, nursing and baby using 100% natural and certified organic ingredients. They strive to be an environmentally responsible company from picking out recyclable packaging, to using biodegradable ingredients and trying to reuse all their shipping materials. Lalabee Bathworks does not test on animals and is a member of PETA. A portion of their proceeds are donated to Heifer International Honeybees. They signed the Compact for Safe Cosmetics and our products can be found on the Cosmetic Database. Lalabee Bathworks is also members of the Canadian Health Food Association.
I have to be honest, when I first received the Baby Moisturizer, I used half the tin on myself. I have very dry skin (especially postpartum) and this moisturizer has helped a lot. It’s also great on my heels. A little goes a long way with the Baby Moisturizer as it is a little thick and very moisturizing. The moisturizer is made of organic shea butter, jojoba oil and vitamin E (I think this would be great to stretch marks).
I have been putting this moisturizer on Carter’s cradle cap for the last day or two and it seems to have made a difference. I’m very happy with it.
I was also sent Lalabee’s best selling product to review, the Bottom Balm. I learned while we were in the NICU that Carter has very sensitive skin and gets rashes very easily. The rashes he gets are quite painful and irritate him badly, it breaks my heart. I just started applying the Bottom Balm and am loving the fact that it keeps his skin protected from the wet diapers. Another fact I love? That it’s one of the least toxic diaper creams on the Cosmetic Database.
Lalabee Bathworks has products that I’m confident in and feel good about applying to my child’s skin. In today’s world, it’s almost a scary thing trying to find hydrating products with all the chemically infused options out there. I’m very thankful to have found this fantastic Canadian company.
I like to try the Postpartum Organic Herbal Sitz Bath after my baby boy is born in July…sitz baths are a pleasure anyway, but with something to soothe and heal would be great. Rafflecopter name: Margaret MacKenzie
