I have a love for one size diapers. They are very convenient and cost effective. Oh Katy‘s diapers offer all the benefits of one size, plus a few unique features. First things first: the aesthetic appeal. Oh Katy comes in a variety of colors, and not just your usual colors you see everywhere. Oh Katy offers different shades of your favorites: twilight, sage and some fun ones too: silver, pearl. A great selection from infancy to toddler.

Oh Katy’s functional features are easy to use. To prevent the dreaded “wing droop” (I just recently experienced this with another diaper) Oh Katy has hip snaps that keep everything in place. The snaps, themselves, are quick to do up and won’t wear out unlike hook and loop enclosures. 

 
Something that I appreciate about this diaper is the fact that there a few more snaps then some of my other diapers. I have noticed as Carter grows that some of the sizing options don’t work for him. With Oh Katy, there always seems to be an option as they provide more of them. The fastening flaps have additional enclosures, to always ensure a snug fit. See the photo above for an example. Speaking of a snug fit, Oh Katy also provides trim and snug leg gussets, keeping messes in.
Comfort wise, this diaper is a great choice for your baby. The outer layer of this diaper is made from a waterproof material called TPU. This material remains flexible and doesn’t crunch when your little one moves. You baby will keep dry with the inner layer of soft microfleece (it’s incredibly soft and gentle, perfect for sensitive skin). Something unique to Oh Katy is their patented front opening pocket. This pocket lays flat over your insert, keeping it from falling out and preventing dirty hands when you remove it for washing. When it comes to the inserts, every diaper comes with two: a small newborn (or it can be used as a doubler to help prevent nighttime soaks) and a full size adjustable insert. I love the adjustable, I currently have the snaps set to the smallest option, so it’s thicker in the front. I feel more confident this way that it’s doing it’s best protection for my boy. An adjustable insert is one of the smartest things I have seen on a diaper, but it doesn’t even compare to the next feature.

The most unique (and my favorite) feature is the fact that you don’t need a wet bag to transport Oh Katy’s diapers. My least favorite thing about cloth diapers is the fact that when you’re away from home, you need a wet bag in addition to your diaper bag. It’s a pain and just another thing to carry. Oh Katy has solved this problem and deserves a gold medal for this. After your change all you have to do is use their “wrap n snap” feature and drop it in your diaper bag. The mess stays secure. Brilliant!

    I want to try one of these…the fact that there are more snaps…the adjustable insert and that it comes with a newborn size…and the wrap up option for out and about…looks to be a great diaper!!
