I have been putting off the chore of packing away Carter’s 9-12 month clothes that no longer fit him. I hate going through his clothes, not only is it tedious but it makes me sad when I see how much he has grown. On the plus side, it’s an excuse to go shopping. Carter doesn’t have enough 12-18 month outfits and this problem occurred just in time for the event, Old Navy’s 40% Off Sale. When it comes to shopping for clothes for Carter, there are only a few places I’ll even look at. One of my favorites happens to be Old Navy.
Every time I have ordered (or shopped at) Old Navy, I always come out with so many clothes – for so little. Their prices are phenomenal, and the quality is really good. When I was expecting, I loaded up at Old Navy. I must have had at least 10 newborn – three months outfits and it cost me around $50. I never shopped at Old Navy before Carter so I was curious to how the garments would hold up in the wash, they still looked brand new the day I packed them up (and after countless washes).
The 40% off all kids and baby sale event starts today (February 7) and will be going until February 20, in stores and online. Since I have found out about the event, I have been filling my online cart up and saving it for the big checkout. Here are a of the items you can find in my cart:
Carter will be a year in the beginning of March and I still haven’t taken him swimming. It’s something that really bothers me, and I plan on changing ASAP. I love these cute Monkey Snorkeler Swim Trunks. They’re available in a huge selection of sizes (newborn to 24 months) and are perfect for a frugal shopper like me. During the sale these swim trucks will only be $8.97!
These pajamas are adorable. The majority of Carter’s PJs are old navy, they look so comfy to sleep in and I love how they’re 100% cotton. These Bull Dog PJs are regular 16.94, and during the sale will be barely over $10. This particular set is available in sizes from 6 months to 5T.
Old Navy jeans are some of my favorite. I have a pair that are fleece lined, and they were perfect for the cold snap us Albertan’s just experienced. I really like the Pull On Jersey Waist Jeans. There is nothing more annoying then trying to do up a fly and button on a baby. They squirm and get sick of the process pretty quick, so when you have butter fingers like me, it’s not a fun experience. So with that in mind, one of the first things I put in my cart were these jeans. They have a snap button enclosure so dressing them is easier and a faux fly, for a real jean look. They are only going to cost me $11.96 on the 7th. I love bargains like this!
This is only the beginning of my shopping list, as I plan on getting Carter’s spring and summer wardrobe during the big sale. With the endless styles and looks (and an affordable price) he will have a dresser full and probably have a better closet then his mom.
