I’m a calorie counter, an avid one I might add. It’s what works for me and I owe a lot of my success in weight loss to counting and monitoring what goes in my body. With that being said, there are days where a girl just needs her chocolate (and not just regular, boring dark chocolate). It’s not an easy task as milk chocolate (or milk chocolate with caramel) usually ranks fairly high up there on the caloric scale, and I’m never willing to forfeit a meal for a snack. If you’re like me you know the frustration this can cause. Well women (and men) it’s time for a divine intervention and rejoice! Skinny Cow Divine Filled Chocolates has us covered.
The same Skinny Cow who brought us those delicious ice cream bars are now bringing us candy bars to satisfy us in those hours of need. At just 130 calories and/or 4 points plus and 7g of fat, the Skinny Cow Divine bars offers a wide range of choices for a safe indulgence. You get three pieces of chocolate in a serving! The Divine Filled Chocolates comes in two flavors: caramel and creamy peanut butter.
My favorite is the caramel flavor. If I could describe this one in six words or less it would be, “Oh my God, this is heaven”. In each package you will receive three pieces of milk chocolate filled with caramel. I did notice a little hint of a salted flavor as well and this really satisfies my salty/sweet cravings that I get (which is typically at night). I’m not going to lie, this box dwindled fast – a little too fast. Between my husband and I the caramel box lasted a day and a half. You get a lot in a box too (6 packages), which is a lot more then what I expected. Check out the Skinny Cow Facebook Page for your chance to win a box today!
The creamy peanut butter is also really good. Growing up, I was never a fan of peanut butter. It wasn’t until I was an adult where I learned to appreciate the combination of chocolate and peanut butter, now I love it but I can’t handle the amount of calories. Skinny Cow Divine is 130 calories for 3 creamy pieces! Compare that to the dry texture of Reese for 210 calories for two pieces. The Skinny Cow variety blows it out of the water.
The Skinny Cow Divine Filled Chocolates are widely available. You will find these in the candy aisle, and they’re found in a variety of places. Since I started this campaign I have found them in my neighborhood pharmacy, Walmart and a local grocery store. I highly recommend these as a not so guilty indulgence on those days where 85% dark chocolate just won’t cut it. We all have those days and I love how I can find something where I won’t beat myself over it.

I wrote this post while participating in a blog tour conducted by Burst Media. I have been compensated for my time commitment to the program, but my opinions are my own.

You HAVE to try those sandwiches Mallery. Put them on your list too.
Looks like a great product but I can’t do it…I read the ingredients
Propylene Glycol? Just google the ingredients, I read this in their Fudge Brownie ice cream and it’s in many other. Plus GMO high fructose corn syrup…really not the best. Sorry Skinny Cow.

Sorry, just telling you as a friend. Don’t hate me for not saying something positive. I can’t ignore when I see such a product with bad ingredients.
