I’m all for educational toys, actually an educational twist is something that I look for when it comes to buying toys for my son. The fact that every toy has an educational aspect at LearningToys.ca makes this momma really happy.
This ball is plush, which makes it appropriate for all ages. There are no choking hazards to be worried about. On one side there is an ABC learning tool and on the other side you can work on numbers with our child.
We usually have the fabric flipped over so the numbers are showing. Whenever the Talking Ball makes contact with a surface it counts. The counting goes up to ten and unless you are hitting the ball continuously (or rolling it) the counter will begin back at one.
It’s a simple toy, but I’m sure a lot of you will agree with me that it’s usually the simple toys that make the best ones. My son really enjoys playing with the K’s Kids ABC’s and 123′s Talking Ball. He was 16 months old when we first received it and he caught on right away that to get the ball to “count” he had to drop it or throw it. It’s only a matter of time until he starts imitating the ball and starts counting.
The ball retails for $29.99 at LearningToys.ca and would make a great gift for anytime during the year, but with Christmas coming up (it’s going to come quick this year, I can tell) this is a fabulous and affordable toy for the little ones in your life.
