Hot Broccoli Dip
This hot broccoli dip is one of my favorite recipes to make for parties and get together’s (like girls night). I’ve been making it since I was a teenager and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon.
Everyone needs a good dip recipe, something they’re famous for. I found mine at seventeen when I made it for a girls night with my friends. It was a hit and now I’m excited to share it with my readers. Hot Broccoli Dip is THE dip to bring to family potlucks, girls nights or lazy day couch sessions. I was first served this recipe at a Pampered Chef party (after a quick Google of the ingredients would make sense because it’s a Pampered Chef recipe) and it’s been a favorite of mine ever since.

I’ve mentioned a few times on the blog how much I LOVE appetizer nights. There is no such thing as a good appie night without a dip or two. This is my go-to recipe but here are a few others:
You can also head over to my appetizer recipes page and see what else I have cooking there.
You don’t need a huge serving dish for this dip. Here are some suggestions:
- one-quart baker works just fine
- 8×8 pan
- Small Pyrex casserole dish
Hot Broccoli Cheddar Dip
This recipe is incredibly versatile and can be served with tortilla or corn chips, vegetables, torn up pitas, or even just plain bread. You’re going to love this recipe.
TBK’s Pro Tip: Don’t forget to use miracle whip – NOT mayonnaise. This matters people as it changes the taste completely.
This dip doesn’t last long, so feel free to double the recipe! Whenever I have a girls night, I do. Enjoy!

Oh my gosh, Randa! My husband laughed out loud because when I landed on this post and the first thing I saw was your photo of that amazing hot broccoli dip, I must have yelled out. “OH. MY. GOD.” LOL! Seriously drooling here!
It’s so good Christine! I’m kind of a garlic fan (laughing at the word kind of) so if I want it a little more spicy – I add more.
This post is from 2009 but I made a beautiful dip on Christmas Eve and knew I had to update this post 🙂
I’m going to have to bookmark this recipe, because I would LOVE to use it while entertaining! I love broccoli and cheese when combined!
Something about broccoli and cheddar go together amazingly! It’s a favorite combo of mine.
Looks delicious! Love the idea of a hot broccoli dip – I usually just make crab or artichoke dip.
I have never had a crab dip before, but I love artichoke dip!
That looks amazing! I could probably eat a whole batch myself!
I ate 3/4 of it on Christmas Eve and the rest on Christmas (they only reason I didn’t eat the whole thing the first time was because I had other dips to eat haha).
