Honey Mustard Vinaigrette
We have been having amazing weather here in Northern BC, the sun has been shining and it’s getting me really excited for summer. I’ve come up with this delicious Honey Dijon Vinaigrette and it has been dreaming about time spent on the patio, enjoying a glass of wine while BBQing.
Nothin’ on earth that will get me hummin’ like a heat wave comin’ and I’ll come running. With her makin’ that tan in the broad daylight and every night is a Saturday night, and everything’s right with the summer comin’, I’ll be the first one standin’ in line for my day in the sun. I’ve been workin’ ’til the sun don’t shine.
I’ve been singing Clint Black’s Summer’s Coming for the past few days. I blame the dressing…and IÂ apologize to my neighbors.
I originally made this Honey Dijon Vinaigrette for my Spring Chicken Bowls recipe a few weeks ago and it went fast! My cousin was over and she was putting it on her salads and I was using it on mine. It goes so well with many things: rice bowls, salads, and it makes a delicious chicken marinade.

What a great simple dressing. This would be perfect on some leftover pork chop/salad.
Thanks for sharing the salad dressing recipe. Homemade ones are always so much better than store bought.
I couldn’t agree more! So much flavor…and we know what’s in them 😉
That sounds amazing! I’m always looking for new ideas for dinner! 🙂 Thank you for sharing with us at the #HomeMattersParty
Yum! What is the 21 Day Fix container count for this?
It would be the same as all the dressings – 1 orange 🙂
So I have to use real lemon? Or can I use lemon juice from the bottle?
It would taste better with real lemon (not as harsh) but try it with the concentrate and report back 🙂
I tried this and fell in love. Sooo simple, sooo healthy and sooo delicious. Big hug and thank you.
5 stars (even though I did use bottled lemon juice) it’s a fabulous recipe. Make it every time I want honey mustard. Thank you for sharing.
So glad you liked it Terry! It’s okay, I use bottled often 😉
Put this on a salad for dinner and it was deliciousÂ
Great to hear! I’m so happy you liked it Teri!
I want to try this tonight. Does it matter what type of olive oil? I know some salad dressing recipes tend to be very specific about that particular ingredient. Thanks.
Hi Mini,
I believe I used extra virgin. Honestly, I use whatever I have on hand 🙂
Hi! I haven’t tried this yet so can’t review it but curious where it falls for containers on 21 day fix? It it orange? Or a tsp? Thanks!
Hi Melissa…thanks for the question and you have to give it a try!!! I would place it as an orange. What do you think?
