Layered Pesto Greek Dip
This Layered Pesto Greek Dip is a recipe I’ve been enjoying for years. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.Â
This week for our #HolidayEntertainingGuide2016 we decided to share our favorite appetizer recipes. I’ll link Julie and Stacey’s recipes at the bottom of this post. One of my favorite appetizer recipes is this Layered Pesto Greek Dip.
My mom has been making this dip recipe at all her parties and get together’s for all of my adult life. It was served at my bridal shower, Christmas parties with friends, and my son’s birthday. It includes two of my favorites: hummus and pesto and best of all? It’s the easiest appetizer recipe ever!
Regardless of your skill level when it comes to cooking, you can make this. You don’t even need the measure to make it (I didn’t). The measurements I provided in the recipe card below are simply guidelines. Depending on the serving dish you use, you may need more or less, so consider that before you head out and buy the ingredients.
Usually, when I make this greek dip recipe, I leave out the olives and cucumbers because I’m not a fan of those ingredients but I wanted to give the full picture to everyone reading this. I took one for the team (and yet still managed to polish off half the serving platter). It happens, what more can I say?
Serve this up with a salad topped with Greek Vinaigrette and you’re laughing.

I derped when I read the title and thought the pic showed greek salad and pesto on a flatbread.
Oh my gosh, it’s on hummus? Each and every bit to this looks delicious! I make my own hummus and will definitely try topping it like this! 🙂
Hahaha! It’s okay you derped and you made me laugh! But hey – doing this on flat bread would be awesome!
This looks really great! I’m looking forward to making it! : )
This would be a fun layered dip to bring out instead of the old usuals.
I adore pesto! This sounds so good!
I adore it too! So yummy.
