Zuppa Toscana Soup

For those of you who have tasted and fallen in love with the Olive Garden’s Zuppa Toscana Soup, this is the recipe for you! This soup is gluten free and a great soup for winter and fall. Comfort in a bowl!

- Ground Italian Sausage - Russet Baking Potatoes - Onion - Garlic - Kale - Chicken Broth - Heavy Whipping Cream - Red Pepper Flakes

Ingredients

Fry up the hot ground Italian sausage, drain the fat and set it aside when done.

In a large pot add onions, potatoes, garlic, chicken broth and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce to medium heat. Cook until potatoes are done, about 30 minutes.

Add cooked hot Italian sausage. Let boil for 10 minutes. Then add kale, simmer for another 10 to 20 minutes. Lower heat and add cream and red pepper flakes. Heat through for another 10 minutes.
