Traveling as a Family With Country Inns & Suites #RestComesEasy
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Country Inns & Suites By Carlson. All opinions are 100% mine.
When my family and I look for a hotel there are a few things we look for: cleanliness, price, amenities and rewards. I also like to make sure that the hotel is able to accommodate a young family traveling with a toddler.
In August my family and I will be embarking on a road trip and spending a few nights in a hotel. It will be our first “long stay trip” with our toddler, and I have been researching many hotels to make sure I find the perfect hotel for us. One that I know my son won’t go stir crazy in, which in return will allow for my husband and myself to keep both our sanities. We want a pool, we want a complimentary breakfast, and I want free wi-fi so I can keep on top of work from the road.
Country Inns & Suites by Carlson offers all of this plus much more.
Hotel stays usually have a foreign feel but with Country Inns & Suites The Rest Comes Easy, providing a comforting stay to make you feel at home.
A complimentary breakfast is a huge money saver and time saver for busy families during travel. Country Inns & Suites offers a hot “Be Our Guest Breakfast” every morning where you’ll find build-your-own omelets, breakfast burritos, waffles and more. How awesome is that? I have never been served breakfast burritos with a complimentary breakfast before. There is also complimentary cookies and coffee in the lobby.
Free wi-fi allows you to stay connected and share moments and updates of your trip with your family members back home, a fitness center is available to help you stay with your goals, and there is a swimming pool (which just happens to be my son’s favorite feature) to unwind with at the end of the day.
Did you forget your child’s favorite bedtime book and now they’re refusing to go to bed? Country Inns & Suites has you covered. They have partnered with Penguin Random House to offer a wide selection of books that you are welcome to borrow and return at any time. It’s called the Read It & Return Lending Library. I love that Country Inns & Suites has done this.
With locations in cities both big and small, some of the top destinations include Minneapolis, Atlanta, Chicago, Nashville, Phoenix, and San Diego. Canadians, you’re covered as well as Country Inns is located from Calgary to the east coast. Book Now.

Country Inns sound so great! I love the idea of the lending book library and the complimentary breakfast is always a good thing. I’ll have to see if there are Country Inns where we are planning on going this summer.
I also love the kid friendly places with complimentary breakfasts! I’ll look into Country Inns and Suites next time I’m on the road!
This sounds like the perfect long stay option for us too! I LOVE the book supply idea! How innovative for a hotel! But really – you had me at breakfast burritos. I’m usually looking for complimentary wifi and breakfast too. It just makes life easier for everyone and it sure does make a difference when you don’t have these things.
I am a total sucker for a hot waffle breakfast at Hotels. Hubs always goes for the eggs, but I am all about the waffles. Sounds lime you are going to have a great stay
When we’re travelling with kids, a pool is critical. A separate bedroom is a welcome bonus. But I am seriously impressed with the lending library idea. Just brilliant!
