Salted Caramel Milkshake {Dairy Free}
Is there anything more satisfying than a milkshake in the summer? However, when you’re dairy free it can be challenging and that is why I created this Chocolate Salted Caramel Milkshake that’s dairy free using So Delicious Cashewmilk Frozen Dessert.
My body does not react well when I eat frozen desserts. I get bloated and feel sick for hours after, so when I saw that So Delicious has a cashewmilk frozen dessert out, I was so excited.
I bought a few to try out (for research sakes) and I like the cashewmilk frozen dessert better than the coconut variety. The consistency is nice and it’s strong with flavor. The Salted Caramel Cashew is my favorite, and I thought it would be so much fun to make a milkshake out of it.
The salted caramel milkshake is super simple and (without the toppings) only has two ingredients: So Delicious Caramel Salted Cashew Frozen Dessert and So Delicious Coconut Milk (the unsweetened variety). I opted for the unsweetened variety because the frozen dessert is full of a caramel flavor and a hint of salt. It’s not overpowering, it’s perfect. Since making this recipe, I have bought three more pints.
Before pouring the milkshake, take the caramel syrup and pour it over the inside of the cup. Not only does this look cute, but it adds more of a caramel taste. Yum! I’m a big fan of caramel recipes, don’t forget to check out these 10 favorite caramel recipes.
To make the salted caramel milkshake look even more tempting, top with coconut whipped topping, drizzle with caramel and sprinkle some shaved dark chocolate over top.

Words cannot describe how amazing this looks…I just want a straw, a big spoon and to grab this off the screen right now!
This is all sorts of amazing! While we don’t have any dairy restrictions at home, it’s not a bad thing to indulge without the extra dairy every once in a while. My husband will go ga-ga over this. He’s a big milkshake fan. I would want to add coffee to this… yum!
This looks so delicious (hehe). It looks like a great decadent treat for me after my daughter goes to bed.
Enjoy!
This is Dairy Free?!?! what?! SIGN ME UP!
Enjoy 😀
Randa. Are you kidding me. Now I need this. *drools*
Dairy free caught my eye for sure. I try not to overdo dairy because I am sensitive to too much milk in things. This however looks like it is full of yummy dairy like taste which is pretty much the goal for me when I make something with So Delicious or other soy product. I don’t think I have had this ice cream at all. I need to look for it for sure.
This looks so yummy! We are a Dairy free house so this is a great treat for us! We love so delicious, their name is very fitting!

My Mom has the same issue with ice cream. I will have to let her know about this! Looks delicious…thanks for sharing at Welcome Home Wednesdays!
You’re welcome! I recommend this for sure. I prefer the cashew milk one over the coconut milk variety, I find this creamier.
Wow! This looks amazing. I want to have it right now! For sure pinning for later and wishing it wasn’t so late. Otherwise, I’d be running out to the store to get the ingredients! Thanks for sharing at #HomeMattersParty hope to see you back!
